On the day of the inaugural Punjabi Prison Match at Great American Bash '06, Big Show and Taker were doing a walk-through in preparation. The third-ever Punjabi Prison Match takes place tonight at WWE Battleground. LOP will have instant reactions from its columnists, as well as the LOP Radio Aftershock program immediately after the show goes off the air. Perhaps tonight will be different, but I do not have high hopes.




The matches on this list chronicle eight PPVs where The Undertaker main-evented, and it was really apparent he shouldn't have. While never asked to carry WWE as the top babyface, 'Taker always occupied a key role, featuring in many high profile feuds. The Undertaker is a legend - there is no denying that. Almost every WWE fan has fond memories of the 'Deadman', and that was due to him having a prominent role throughout his 25-plus year tenure with the company. In many ways, he transcended the necessity for titles.

Another story was that Owen would go out to wrestle Undertaker with cucumber slices concealed in his tights. Paul Bearer – longtime onscreen manager and travel partner – confirmed the rumour in an interview before his death in 2013. He would then hold the Deadman in a headlock and surreptitiously produce the cucumbers to hold in Taker's face – forcing the Deadman to face his fear or break character. He struck terror into the hearts of his opponents with the supernatural-like presence and knack for stuffing his victims into caskets.
